Terms

Terms of use

Last updated 22 October 2026

These terms apply to this site, the demo and the press materials, run by Adam Weisman, a private individual developing Vereye as a personal project. By using them you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. What this site is

Vereye is an early proof of concept of an invisible seal for images. The site presents the technology, its measured results, and a demo that runs the current reader. It is provided for information and evaluation.

2. What the demo’s results mean

The demo reports automated measurements: whether a seal was read, the registered owner of its key, whether a copy is an exact match to the registered photo, and where a copy no longer matches its registered measurements. These are measurements, not a legal, forensic or expert opinion, not a certification of authenticity or ownership, and not proof of who changed an image or why. Not finding a seal is not proof that none is there. Do not rely on the demo alone for legal, financial, medical, safety or other important decisions.

3. Images you check

4. Acceptable use

You may not: attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site, the demo or the registry; bypass rate limits or security measures; register, alter or delete registry records without authorisation; scrape the site in bulk; use the demo or its results to mislead others about the origin or integrity of an image; or remove the seal from, or place a seal on, images in order to deceive. Good-faith security research is welcome: please report issues to Adam@vereye.ai before disclosing them, and do not access data that is not yours.

5. Intellectual property

Vereye is a personal project of Adam Weisman, a private individual; it is not yet a company. The Vereye name and logo are used by him; no trademark registration is claimed. The site, its texts and graphics, and the software are his. The technology is patent pending. Nothing on this site grants a licence to the technology or the software. The gallery photos and the press materials may be used for editorial purposes with the credit “Image: Vereye”. You may also download the gallery photos, change them to test the demo, and share the results for commentary or review. Any other use needs our written permission.

5a. Third-party notices

The site includes the KaTeX typesetting library and its fonts (MIT licence and SIL Open Font Licence 1.1) and the Geist and Geist Mono fonts by Vercel (SIL Open Font Licence 1.1). Their licence texts are in licenses.txt.

6. Feedback

If you send us ideas, reports or suggestions, we may use them to improve Vereye without any obligation to you. Images you send are handled as our privacy policy describes.

7. Other names and benchmarks

SynthID, Watermark Anything, Video Seal, TrustMark, StegaStamp, C2PA and other names belong to their owners; Vereye is not affiliated with them. Comparisons are measured or reported under the conditions stated next to them, as described in our paper.

8. No warranty

The site and the demo are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. Results vary with the content of each image, and some copies may not read.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Adam Weisman and Vereye are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for decisions made on the basis of the demo’s results. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. General

If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. These terms, with the privacy policy, are the whole agreement about using the site.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts in Israel have jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you rights that cannot be waived. Questions: Adam@vereye.ai.
